Account Relations Representative (Account Manager)
Position Overview
As an Account Relationship Representative at Romexterra, you will be pivotal in driving revenue growth by cultivating a book of business and building relationships with our channel partners to earn their customer referrals. For example, you'll be tasked with building relationships with insurance agencies so they refer Romexterra to their homeowners when they experience a loss. Or you may have a portfolio of companies in adjacent industries where you build and maintain a referral network (e.g. plumbers, contractors, fire departments). You will be responsible for understanding our services, and effectively communicating the value to earn referrals to meet or exceed sales targets. You'll know you're the right person for the job if you're self-motivated, good with technology, conduct yourself with a high degree of professionalism, are personable, and quick to establish lasting business relationships.
Daily Tasks
- Develop and maintain strong relationships within sales targets.
- Develop and maintain efficient routes for effective time management when visiting clients (company vehicle provided).
- Identify opportunities to strengthen relationships and build rapport with target clients.
- Look for opportunities to leverage your time with clients, such as industry events, outings, and entertainment venues.
- Collaborate closely with the marketing team to align sales strategies with marketing initiatives and campaigns.
- Provide accurate sales forecasts and regular activity reports to management, leveraging CRM systems and other tools.
- Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitive activities to identify opportunities for growth and potential threats.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field preferred.
- Proven record of success in sales.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented, with a demonstrated ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Familiarity with CRM software and other sales productivity tools(Google Workspace).
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Experience with the insurance industry is helpful
- Self-motivation and ability to quickly build strong relationships
Compensation & Benefits:
- Base salary commensurate with experience ($45,000 - $65,000), plus:
- First-year commission expectation ~$20,000.
- Second-year commission expectation ~$50,000.
- Plus bonus tiers for aggregate sales volume
